Every week we run down the best in gloves, blockers, toes and stacks

"Me and my goalies, we tighter than a glove/ Save a lot of games its how we do it at the Padstackers Club" - Eric "Eazy-E" Wright
A great save can get you cemented in history as a game changer, but most importantly it will get you mentioned on my weekly article about saves. This is the Padstackers club.
Cory Schneider on Phil Kessel
Look: the New Jersey Devils are a bad team this year. With the departure of Ilya Kovalchuck to the KHL over the summer, the Devils were left with essentially the scraps of a street hockey team. The upside, if there is one, is that they have secured a great goal tender to take over when Martin Brodeur finally calls it quits. Friday night, the Devils secured one point due in part to Jonathan Bernier's inability to make a standard save, but it was Schneider who kept them in contention for an extra point with this beauty.
Kari Lehtonen on Tomas Tatar
Lehtonen makes it into this space for a second week with his well-positioned save on Tomas Tatar. Although not the flashiest save you'll ever see, Lehtonen throws in a little around the world showmanship for fun as Tatar looks to the heavens questioning his faith in hockey.
Reto Berra on Alex Steen
You're probably asking yourself, "Who the hell is Reto Berra?". Well, he's the guy that apparently didn't get the memo about the offensive juggernaut that is Alex Steen. Steen would later forward said memo to him in between periods and go on to bury his 14th but none the less Berra still had a nice save to add his highlight reel.
Brayden Holtby on Justin Fontaine
It's good to see Holtby revert back from punching bag to awesome goalie as he robs Justin Fontaine from what seems to be a sure goal. The Caps were down 2-1 in the third and as the commentator says it was a game saver, which turned out to be the case as they tied the game and won in a shootout.
Sergei Bobrovsky on Brian Boyle
It's a shame Jay Onrait doesn't call Columbus Blue Jackets game as I'm sure he'd have his legendary BOBROVSKY call ready for this beauty. Great job on staying with the puck and not allowing Boyle to tuck it past his pad.
